Ranked #1 on Return on Investment in the city of Chicago, Illinois Tech provides a hands-on experience to set students for success after graduation. Since 1995, our Interprofessional Projects (IPRO) Program has been a bragging right for Illinois Tech. IPRO joins students from various majors to work in teams to solve real-world problems, often on behalf of companies and nonprofits that sponsor the projects. IPRO allows you to gain first hand experience working with engineers, scientists, business people, psychologists, technologists, and architects to attack a challenge and create smart solutions with measurable impacts. At Illinois Tech, students learn by creating, inventing, and solving - not just in the classroom.
My name is Tylar Hardy, and I work as an International Admission Counselor at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois. I work primarily with all international students in the Western Hemisphere as well as India! Graduating with an International Relations degree in 2016 and working as an international student peer mentor, I desired to continue supporting international students in their transition to university. Since then, I've worked as a college counselor and SAT teacher in Tbilisi, Georgia. I also worked in a remote village in Georgia as an English teacher. I hope to use my expertise in college advising, admission counseling, and student support to aid and educate Canadian families about Illinois Tech and the opportunities available in Chicago.
