Our close-knit campus community it taught by world-renowned faculty who get to know our students through small class sizes and integrative learning. 100% of our students complete internships, clinicals, independent research or field work, leading to 91% of graduates finding employment or enrolling in grad school within six months of graduation.
As the only women’s-centered university in Boston, we have been a beacon of leadership for more than 100 years. We empower women who are intellectually curious, ambitious, and socially conscious to become leaders in their careers and their communities. We are so committed to making a Simmons education accessible and affordable that 100% of incoming students receive financial support. We also belong to the Colleges of the Fenway, a consortium of five schools that allow students to cross-register for courses, attend events, participate in intramurals, and more. Choosing Simmons means you’ll get the best of both worlds: a small college feel with big university benefits.
Heather Zeman has worked in the admission office at Simmons University since 2014. In addition to working with international students, Heather manages counseling team members and oversees the application review process for first-year applicants. Heather’s passion for international education began during her own study abroad experience. By traveling and learning alongside students from different backgrounds, Heather experienced the significance of collaborating across cultures. She is particularly passionate about helping young women gain access to higher education. Heather loves representing a women’s-centered university whose primary focus is to develop and empower the future leaders of the world.
