Karen Kristof has worked in the admission office at Smith College since 1999. She is the Senior Associate Director of Admission, coordinating the recruitment of international students and managing the selection process for all first-year candidates. A graduate of Smith College, she has spent her 28-year career in higher education promoting the value of liberal arts education and helping high school students from all over the U.S. and more than 25 countries navigate the college application process. In her current role, she is excited to talk with young women about the benefits of attending a women’s college and how to prepare for the rigors of a highly selective admission process.
Nikki Chambers has worked in the Office of Admissions for 5 years. She's currently an Admissions Counselor and the Coordinator of Collegiate Programs, while being a part-time graduate student in the Higher and Postsecondary Education program at Teachers College, Columbia University. Prior to this role, she worked as a 6th grade math teacher in the Teach for America Corps in Houston, TX. She earned her bachelor's degree from Mount Holyoke College in 2010.
