“Something that I find really great about BU is the focus on hands-on experience. Beyond the teamwork and presentation skills, I’m walking away from college with multiple business plans that I’ve written, an app that I built, and with market research experience that I got to do for an actual company.”

WHY BOSTON UNIVERSITY

Academic Excellence.

Boston University is known for excellence across the breadth of its programs. In fact, BU is a member of the Association of American Universities (AAU), a prestigious association of top research universities in the US and Canada. Many of BU’s programs rank among the nation’s elite: biomedical engineering, occupational therapy, journalism, theatre, international relations, and business, to name just a few.

With more than 300 programs of study across 10 undergraduate schools and colleges, BU offers unparalleled opportunities to succeed academically, professionally and socially. BU faculty includes award-winning scholars, determined researchers, innovative entrepreneurs, and celebrated artists. BU also has one of the nation’s premier study abroad programs with 100+ options in 20+ countries. But you'll also meet the world right here. With classmates from more than 100 countries, it’s no wonder BU is ranked among the top 10 universities hosting the most international students in the US by Open Doors.

BU sits in the heart of Boston where students can experience a world-class city as an extension of the campus for study, internships, employment, and cultural and recreational activities. Students also enjoy on-campus activities with 24 NCAA athletic teams and more than 450 student groups, including Anime Club, Film Society, Photography Club, Society of Women Engineers and more.

Greetings from Boston University! I am Monique Robert, Senior Assistant Director of Admissions and Immigration. I am Boston University’s Admissions representative to Canada, where I travel each fall and spring to meet prospective students. I am a proud to be a Boston University alumna and I began my career with Boston University Admissions after receiving my Bachelor’s degree from the College of Arts & Sciences. With more than 14 years with the University, I am a seasoned admissions professional and I most enjoy bringing talented new Terriers to campus who will continue to enhance our diverse community and grow into future global leaders. I also assist international students with their visa applications and advanced credit awards, allowing me to stay connected with students throughout their journey to BU. I look forward to meeting new students from Canada and I encourage you to reach out to me directly with any questions you may have.
