This site is proudly owned by a Canadian company, CollegeTrackr Inc. (the "Company"). In collaboration with U.S. colleges and universities participating at our virtual events and digital publications, we are excited to bring families across Canada exciting FREE resources to support them along with any not-for-profit programs each year. We do not have any personal logins and our site and events are open to everyone. Our privacy policy is very important to us and we are strongly committed to protecting your privacy and providing a safe online experience for all our visitors. This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit https://collegetrackr.com (the “Site”) (this includes all sub-domains, directories and slugs associated with the Site) or sign-up for any of our online events through our Site, webinar registration forms (e.g., Zoom), Facebook Ads and other embedded forms on our Site and digital campaigns.

Personal information we collect

"Personal information” is any information that could be used to identify you depending on the nature of your interaction with us whether it is simply signing up for our newsletters or joining an online event by filling out a form on the Site or registering for an event (through our Site, webinar forms (e.g. Zoom), Facebook Ads, etc.). These forms may include the following (‘Personal Information’): (a) name, address, and telephone and facsimile numbers of student and their parent or guardian; occupation, academic information, test scores and school acceptance information; educational background, records and related information; any resumes or college portfolios you share (b) information you provide us when you contact us or any of our college and university members for help; and; (c) information you enter into our system and embedded forms when using the Site, such as contact information.

Providing your Personal Information, either in person, by telephone, or on-line on our Site, webinar registration forms (e.g., Zoom) and/or Facebook Ads constitutes your consent to the collection, use and disclosure of such Personal Information by the Company for the purpose of providing the best experience possible and to meet your college, university, and other academic/athletic interests. For example, if you filled out a form on our Site to join an online event, we will use your name and email address to register you for our events and send you a unique URL to participate. If you signed up using Facebook, we will use the information you provided to send you relevant content, contact you for support and provide you with further marketing via email, phone, Facebook or other digital marketing strategies to share content that may be relevant to you.

We strive to protect your privacy and keep any Personal Information you provide secure and protected using our trusted 'Services'. We use GoToCollegeFair platform for of our virtual fairs; when you sign up for our virtual fairs, you agree to their terms and privacy too. We use one of the world's largest and secure hosting services - Amazon Web Services. We use the hosting and website services (including embedded contact forms) of Leadpages.net. We use popular email marketing and customer management services - Mailchimp, and Hubspot CRM. We use the service of Typeform for embedded forms on our Site such as contact forms. Your security is absolutely important to us and we rely on the aforementioned services to help us. By using our Site, you agree to their terms and privacy policies and any Personal Information you provide will be saved in their systems too that we rely on. 

The Company may use your Personal Information to provide you with relevant educational information. For example, the Company may: Contact you to discuss a student’s progress; Provide you with information and updates regarding programs or materials that the Company or our colleges and universities have to offer and which the Company thinks will interest you; Improve the Company’s resources to better understand and meet your needs.

Does the Company Disclose Personal Information? The Company may, on occasion, share some or all of your Personal Information with relevant third parties for the purposes set out above. For example, Personal information may be shared: With U.S. colleges and universities for the purposes of providing you with relevant athletic and other educational information and within the Company's network that is aligned with services related to education.

In-Person Events, Virtual and Webinar Disclaimer The Site and any information provided at our in-person events, virtual events or webinars are not directed to or intended for distribution or use by any person. The information presented on this Site, events and our webinars are collected, maintained and provided purely for the convenience of the site visitor/reader. We have made every attempt to ensure that the information contained in this Site, events and webinars have been obtained from reliable sources and the Company is not responsible for any errors, decisions or omissions of the information. The information on this Site, events and webinars have been incorporated in good faith and it is only for general purpose. It should not be relied upon for any specific purpose and no representation or warranty is given for its accuracy or completeness.  Furthermore, dates for our events and webinars may change or be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances; you will be contacted in such cases to inform you.

Photo and Video Disclaimer The Company reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any in-person events without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. The Company may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by the Company including but not limited to: social media and websites.

To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian.

By participating in any in-person event, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify the Company from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.

Any person or organisation not affiliated with the Company may not use, copy, alter or modify the Company photographs, graphics, videography or other, similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission of an authorised designee from the Company.
