ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Amanda Anderson.

I am the Executive Director of Undergraduate Admission at the University of Miami. I am so lucky to have recruited in Canada for nearly a decade, and am delighted to continue to do so with “the U!” I have worked in admission at both private and public institutions, and am well versed in Division I athletics and enrolling Canadian students in such while finding their home at a US university.

Canada ranks in the top 10 countries that sends students to the University of Miami. Our diverse community with more than 180 majors for just 11,000 undergraduate students is extremely appealing to Canadian students. We make every effort to visit Quebec, Montreal, Toronto, Victoria, and Vancouver every year to meet with students and their families who want to see the abundance of academic opportunities we have to offer. Being the hemispheric university at the center of the Americas makes UM a strategic location for our students. We look forward to meeting you during our travels or when you visit our beautiful Coral Gables campus.
